Uline Ice Maker · code E1
Code-specific guidance for E1
E1 on a Uline ice maker usually flags the temperature thermistor reading the evaporator or cabinet condition outside the expected range. The harvest cycle may stall or restart endlessly.
Note whether ice is still forming and how much; partial harvests with a code are different from complete production stoppage. Check the water supply valve and the inlet hose for kinks before booking, but do not disassemble panels.
Call Uline Appliance Support at 844-532-0909—nugget, crescent, and clear-ice machines each test differently.
What to track before you call
- Exact timing: note which cycle step, mode, or temperature setting triggered E1.
- Repeatability: record whether the code returns immediately after reset or only under heavier demand.
- Related symptoms: capture any unusual sounds, heat changes, leaks, smells, or electrical trips.
- Model details: keep model and serial ready so we can route the right parts and test path.
